A risk actor that goes by the alias “IntelBroker” is promoting knowledge that it claims was obtained from an AMD.com breach this month, BleepingComputer reports, and the corporate confirmed in an announcement that it’s trying into the purported theft. IntelBroker claims that the information on the market contains future merchandise, worker databases, and buyer databases.
“We’re conscious of a cybercriminal group claiming to be in possession of stolen AMD knowledge,” AMD stated within the assertion given to BleepingComputer, PCMag, and Bloomberg. “We’re working intently with legislation enforcement officers and a third-party internet hosting accomplice to analyze the declare and the importance of the information.”
